“You only live once, but if you do it right once in enough”
Hi there and welcome!
Let me introduce myself: I’m Martina, I live in Padua (Italy) and in my life, as well as a tireless traveller, I’m a full-time Web Developer.
I bet you’re surprised! I’m not in line with the idea you’ve always had of travel bloggers, am I? 🙂
Nevertheless, trying to put together every-day life and my passion for trips is exactly what brought As far as you can to life!
Through this blog I hope to inspire all those people who, like me, are moved by a strong passion for trips and for the discovery of new places; but, at the same time, must deal with an ordinary life, with a full-time job, with responsibilities and with only a few weeks of holiday in a year.
As far as you can finds its roots in a personal thought: travelling is not just leaving for distant countries, getting rid of our ordinary life for a given time period. It also means being driven by the desire to explore the world, no matter how much time we have.
There’s no doubt that it’s not easy; actually it’s pretty challenging! But trust me when I say that it’s possible. I hope you’ll find my articles and tips helpful to achieve this goal.
As an Asian proverb says:
“Better to see something once than to hear about it a thousand times”
